Chocolate Fudge Cake

Ingredients:

1/2 cup shortening

2 cups dark brown sugar

3 eggs, beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 cups all-purpose flour

2 squares melted chocolate

1/3 teaspoon salt

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease or spray 11" x 7" baking dish. In a medium bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Add remaining ingredients; beat for 2 minutes. Pour batter into baking dish; bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick stuck in center comes out clear.

While cake is baking, prepare Chocolate Drizzle or Chocolate Coca-Cola Icing.
