Chocolate Drizzle

Ingredients:

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 teaspoons shortening (do not use butter, margarine, spread or oil)

Directions:

Place the chips and shortening in a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high (100%) for 30 seconds. If necessary, microwave at high an additional 15 seconds at a time, stirring after each heating, just until chips are melted.

Makes an attractive drizzle for ice cream, pound cake, or most other desserts.
