Swedish Nut Cake |
Ingredients: 2 cups granulated sugar 2 eggs, at room temperature 2 teaspoons baking soda 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 cups chopped pecans 1 can (8 ounces) crushed pineapple, with syrup recipe for Cream Cheese Frosting Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, combine and mix well all ingredients. Spread in a greased 9" x 13" baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Cool on wire racks. Spread with Cream Cheese Frosting and then cover with 1/2 cup crushed pecans. |
