Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients:

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

1 stick butter, softened

2 cups confectioners sugar

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Beat cream cheese and butter at medium speed with an electric mixer until creamy. Gradually add sugar and salt, beating until blended. Stir in vanilla.

Note: This frosting is great on brownies, pound cake, apple cake, pear cake, etc.
