Tropical Butter Frosting |
Ingredients: 1/4 cup butter 1 pound confectioners' sugar 1/4 cup crushed pineapple, lightly drained 2 tablespoons sour cream 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/4 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons orange peel, coarsely grated 3/4 cup flaked coconut Directions: In a medium mixing bowl, beat butter until soft. Gradually beat in sugar, pineapple, and sour cream alternately until frosting is fluffy and smooth. Blend in vanilla, salt, orange peel and coconut. Add to the top of a spice, white, yellow, or carrot cake. |
