Strawberry-Pretzel Salad

Ingredients:

2 1/3 cups crushed pretzels

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

3/4 cup margarine, melted

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese

1 cup granulated sugar

1 cup whipped topping

2 packages (3 ounces each) strawberry gelatin

2 cups boiling water

2 packages (10 ounces each) frozen strawberries

1/2 cup pecans, chopped

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix pretzels, sugar and margarine. Press into a 9" x 13" baking dish; bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes and then let cool.

In another bowl, combine cream cheese and 1 cup sugar. Add whipped topping; mix well. Spread over baked layer. Chill in refrigerator.

Dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add frozen strawberries, stirring until thawed. Add pecans. Pour over cream cheese layer. Chill until set.
