Sour Cream Cornbread

Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

3/4 cup yellow cornmeal

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup sour cream

1/4 cup milk

1 egg, beaten

2 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a medium bowl, combine the first six ingredients and stir together. Add sour cream, milk, egg and butter. Mix well. Pour into a greased 8" square baking pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 20 minutes or until a pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cut in 16 squares. Best served warm.
