Shipwreck Casserole

Ingredients:

1 pound ground chuck

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper

3/4 cup chopped onions

4 cups chopped potatoes

1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

1 small can pork and beans

1/2 can (or more) tomato soup

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In an 11" x 9" baking dish, layer meat, onions, and then potatoes. Cover with cheese and beans. Smother all of this with tomato soup. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.
