Sauteed Pears

Ingredients:

3 fresh pears, peeled, cored & sliced

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon crushed cinnamon

Directions:

In a medium skillet, melt butter. Add brown sugar and cook until butter is well blended into mixture and brown sugar is completely dissolved. Add sliced pears. Cook until pears are tender when pierced with a for, about 3-4 minutes. Add cinnamon.

Serve as a side dish with pork. It is also great over oatmeal for breakfast or served over ice cream or pound cake for a dessert.
