Sausage-Egg Casserole

Ingredients:

1 pound sausage

1 can crescent rolls

2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

4 eggs, at room temperature

3/4 cup milk

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In a medium skillet, cook the sausage; drain and rinse under hot water. Line the bottom of a 13" x 9" baking dish with crescent rolls, firmly pressing the perforations on the rolls to seal. Sprinkle rolls with sausage and cheese. In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; beat well and then pour it over the sausage. Bake at 425 degrees for 15 minutes or until eggs look cooked. Let stand for 5 minutes before cutting. Cut into squares and serve hot.
