Rice Pudding |
Ingredients: 1/2 cup rice 1 quart milk 1/2 cup granulated sugar 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 cup seedless raisins Directions: Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a mixing bowl, combine rice, milk, sugar and salt and mix well; pour into buttered 1 1/2 quart baking dish. Bake at 300 degrees for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. Add lemon peel, nutmeg and raisins; continue baking 1 1/2 hour longer. Yields 6 servings. |
