Red Hot Salad

Ingredients:

2 packages (3 ounces each) cherry gelatin

2 cups boiling water

1/4 cup candy red hots

1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple

1 1/4 cups apples, chopped

1 cup celery, chopped

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese

1/4 cup confectioners' sugar

1/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

In a clear glass bowl, dissolve the gelatin in the boiling water. Stir in the red hots, pineapple, apples and celery. Chill until firm.

In a small bowl, mix together the cream cheese, sugar, salad dressing and pecans. Pour over topped of gelatin. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
