Poppy Seed Dressing

Ingredients:

1 cup cider vinegar

1 1/2 cups granulated sugar

1 tablespoon dry mustard

3/4 teaspoon onion powder

2 teaspoons salt

2 cups olive oil

1 cup vegetable oil

4 tablespoons poppy seed

Directions:

In a blender or food processor, combine vinegar, sugar, mustard, onion powder, and salt . With the motor on, slowly add olive oil and vegetable oil in a steady stream; whirling until dressing is smooth and sugar has dissolved. Add poppy seeds and blend thoroughly. Store, covered, in refrigerator. Serve at room temperature. Mix well before each serving.

This dressing tastes great on any green-leaf salad or any fruit salad.
