Peanut Butter & Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup creamy peanut butter

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

5 tablespoons milk

1 egg, at room temperature

1 package (6 ounces) semi-sweet chocolate chips

1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a small bowl, combine flour, soda, baking powder, and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine peanut butter, butter, sugars and vanilla; beat until creamy. Beat in milk and egg. Gradually add flour mixture; mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans. Drop by level tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.

Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Remove to wire racks to cool. Yield: 48 cookies
