Mountain Dew Cake

Ingredients:

1 box (18.25 ounces) orange supreme cake mix

1 box instant coconut cream pudding

3/4 cup cooking oil

4 eggs, at room temperature

1 can Mountain Dew

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour three 9" round cake pans. In a medium bowl, mix the cake mix, pudding and oil. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add 1 can of Mountain Dew. Pour batter into prepared pans. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.

Ingredients for Icing:

1 cup granulated sugar

3 tablespoons cornstarch

1 can (20 ounces) crushed pineapple, with juice

1/2 stick margarine

1 can (3.5 ounces) flake coconut

Directions for Icing:

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and pineapple; cook, stirring until thick. Remove from heat and add 1/2 stick margarine and 1 small can flaked coconut. Ice while cake is hot.
