Lemon Sauce

Ingredients:

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 cup boiling water

2 tablespoons butter

1 teaspoon grated lemon peel

3 tablespoons lemon juice

Directions:

In medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt; mix well. Gradually stir in boiling water. Bring to a boil; cook, stirring constantly, 5 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Add butter, lemon peel and juice; mix well. Serve warm or cool.
