Ice Box Pickles, Onions & Peppers

Ingredients:

1/2 gallon sliced cucumbers

3 medium onions, sliced

2 green peppers, sliced

2/3 cup vinegar

2 teaspoons salt

1 1/2 cups sugar

1 teaspoon celery seed

Directions:

In your largest saucepan, bring vinegar, salt, sugar, and celery seed to a boil. Let cool.

In a gallon container, layer cucumbers, onions and peppers. Pour liquid over the vegetables. This will keep in the refrigerator for weeks.
