Honeybun Cake |
Ingredients: 1 box (18.25 ounces) yellow cake mix 4 eggs, at room temperature 2/3 cup cooking oil 1 cup sour cream 1 cup brown sugar 3 teaspoons crushed cinnamon 3 cups confectioners' sugar 3/4 cup milk 2 teaspoons vanilla extract Directions: Preheat oven to 325 degrees. In a large mixing bowl, mix the cake mix, eggs, oil, and sour cream together and pour half of the mixture into a 9" x 13" baking pan. Mix together the brown sugar and cinnamon and spread over the first half of the mixture. Now pour the second half into the baking pan. Bake at 325 for 45-60 minutes, until cake is done. When cake is removed from oven, take a fork and punch holes all over the cake While cake is baking, mix together the confectioners' sugar, 3/4 cup milk, and 2 teaspoons vanilla. Pour this mixture into the holes of the hot cake. |
