Hickory Nut Pie

Note: If you like pecan pie, you'll love this hickory nut pie.

Ingredients:

1 cup hickory nuts (the more the better)

3 eggs, at room temperature

1 cup light syrup

2 tablespoons butter

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon all-purpose flour

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a medium bowl, mix all ingredients together and place in an unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
