Green Bean 'N' Cheese Toss

Ingredients:

1 cup diced celery

1 teaspoon minced onion

1 teaspoon minced green pepper

1/4 cup butter

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 can (20 ounces) green beans, cut

1/4 cup grated American cheese

Directions:

In a small skillet, cook celery, onion and pepper in butter until tender and onion is golden brown. In small saucepan, add salt to green beans and heat thoroughly. Add cooked vegetables to hot beans; stir well and place in microwavable dish. Top with grated American cheese and place in microwave long enough for cheese to melt. Yield: 6 servings
