Glazed Peach Creme

Ingredients:

2 packages (3 ounces each) peach gelatin

2 cups boiling water, divided

1 pint vanilla ice cream

1 can (8.75 ounces) sliced peaches, drained

3/4 cup cold water

1 carton (8 ounces) whipped topping

Directions:

In a medium bowl, dissolve 1 package gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Add ice cream and stir until melted and smooth. Pour into clear glass bowl. Chill for at least one hour. Arrange peach slices over this mixture.

In another bowl, dissolve remaining package of gelatin in remaining cup boiling water. Add cold water. Chill until slightly thickened. Pour this gelatin over top of previously prepared gelatin with peaches. Chill until firm. Top with whipped topping.
