Frozen Banana Split

Ingredients:

18 ice-cream sandwiches (3.5 ounces each)

4 bananas, sliced

2 cups pecans or peanuts

1 jar (11.75 ounces) caramel sauce

1/2 gallon ice cream (vanilla, cookies 'n' cream or your favorite)

1 jar (10 ounces) maraschino cherries, sliced

1 jar (12 ounces) hot fudge sauce

1 carton (8 ounces) whipped topping

pecans & chocolate syrup, for garnish

Directions:

Unwrap ice-cream sandwiches and cover bottom of 10" x 15" casserole dish. Note: feel free to cut or break the sandwiches to fill in all gaps, since it will all be covered anyway.

Cover sandwiches with banana slices and nuts. Drizzel the caramel sauce over the whole mixture. Add ice cream to top of mixture and smooth it out.

Add the cherries and drizzle the hot fudge sauce over the mixture. Cover with the whipped topping and garnish with pecans and some more chocolate syrup.

Freeze until ready to serve.

Note: if you're using a 9" x 13" casserole dish, you will not need as many ice-cream sandwiches.
