Fricadilly

Ingredients:

5 slices fresh white bread

1 1/2 pounds ground beef

1/2 pound ground pork shoulder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon crushed black pepper

2 eggs, beaten

2 cups milk

1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup

5 ounces water

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Tear bread into small pieces. Combine beef, pork, bread crumbs, salt and pepper. Toss with fork. Beat eggs; add milk. Add to meat mixture and mix. Drop meat in rounded balls from tablespoon into hot oil in skillet and brown. Remove to 13" x 9" baking dish. Cover with mixture of mushroom soup and water.

Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
