Fresh Orangeade

Ingredients:

4 oranges

1 lemon

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup water

3 1/2 cups water

Directions:

On a hard surface, roll the oranges and lemon until soft. Wash them thoroughly. Cut fruit in half and squeeze out the juice. Remove the seeds from the juice and place juice in a large pitcher. In a small saucepan, add 1/2 cup sugar and 1/2 cup water and boil for ten minutes; let cool and then add to the juice. Add remaining water and stir until sugar is dissolved. Add ice cubes, stir well, and serve.
