Fluffy White Frosting

Ingredients:

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup water

3 egg whites, at room temperature

2 tsp. white vanilla extract

Directions:

In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water. Bring to a hard boil. It is finished when one drop of hot sugar can fall from spoon and stand up in a ball.

In a large mixing bowl, beat egg whites until very fluffy. Add vanilla and continue beating. Add sugar mixture and continue beating. When well mixed and very fluffy, you are ready to ice your cake.
