Fake Divinity

Ingredients:

2 cups sugar

1/2 cup water

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 jar (7 ounces) marshmallow cream

bag of pecan halves, for garnish

Directions:

In a heavy saucepan, bring sugar, water and salt to a rolling boil for 2 minutes. Place into a large mixing bowl and then add marshmallow cream. Stir until it loses its gloss. Using a tablespoon, place large blobs onto wax paper. Garnish each top with a pecan half. Allow candy to set overnight to dry. After one side seems dry, turn the candy over for the other side to dry.
