Easy Egg Nog |
Ingredients: 6 eggs, at room temperature 3 cups cold milk 1 tablespoon vanilla extract 8 tablespoons granulated sugar 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 pint heavy cream, whipped 1 teaspoon cinnamon, for garnish Directions: In a large bowl, beat the eggs. Add milk and sugar; continue beating until mixture thickens slightly. Add the vanilla and stir well. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until chilled, at least for 3 hours. Pour into serving cups and sprinkle cinnamon over top. Yields 8 cups. |
