Creamy Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients:

1 package (8 ounces) fettuccine pasta

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese

3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup margarine

1/2 cup milk

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon dried basil

1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions:

In a large pot, bring lightly salted water to a boil and cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

In a medium saucepan, combine cream, Parmesan, margarine, milk, garlic powder and basil and stir for 10-15 minutes over low heat until smooth and creamy. Toss sauce with pasta and sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve.
