Cream Cheese Mints

Ingredients:

3 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 teaspoon flavoring*

3 drops food coloring*

2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar

Directions:

*With wintergreen flavoring, use green coloring

*With lemon flavoring, use yellow coloring

*With peppermint flavoring, use pink coloring

Beat cream cheese until soft. Add flavoring and coloring of your choice. Gradually add sugar. Knead until consistency is like pie dough. For a firmer mix, add a little more sugar. Roll the mixture into marble-sized balls. Dip one side into colored sugar. Place sugar side down, into cavity of mold, pressing from edge to center. Unmold at once onto wax paper. (Note: You can form dough into a log and slice if you do not have molds.)
