Coconut Bars

Ingredients:

2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

4 tablespoons brown sugar

1 cup butter

4 eggs, beaten

3 cups brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups shredded coconut

2 cups chopped pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 275 degrees. In a medium mixing bowl, mix together flour, 4 tablespoons brown sugar, and butter. Pat into bottom of 9" x 13" baking dish.

In a medium bowl, combine eggs, 3 cups brown sugar, salt, vanilla, coconut and nuts. Mix and pour over bottom of pan. Bake at 275 degrees for 1 hour. Cool on wire rack. Slice into bars.
