Caramelized Pecan Frosting

Ingredients:

3 tablespoons butter, at room temperature

2/3 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

2/3 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

In a saucepan, combine all three ingredients. Cook at low to medium heat, stirring constantly, to let the butter sizzle and to caramalize the sugar. Be careful not to let the butter burn! Cook until the syrup is thick. Goes great on top of pumpkin pie.
