Brown Sugar Sauce for Cakes

Ingredients:

1 cup light brown sugar

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup milk

1 stick margarine

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:

In a medium saucepan, mix all ingredients together. Cook until it is thick, stirring constantly.

This hot sauce goes great over a slice of pound cake, apple cake, pear cake, etc.
