Brickle Drop Cookies |
Ingredients: 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
3 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
1 package (8 ounces) toffee bits
Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease cookie sheet.
In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and salt until blended. Add eggs; beat well.
In a medium bowl, stir together flour, baking soda and cream of tartar. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture, beating until blended. Stir in the toffee bits.
Drop by heaping teaspoons onto prepared cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350 degrees or until lightly browned. Cool slightly and then remove from baking sheet.
Yields about 6 dozen cookies. |
