Beets with Pineapple

Ingredients:

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 can (8.75 ounces) pineapple tidbits

1 tablespoon butter

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 can (15 ounces) sliced beets, drained

Directions:

In a medium sauce, combine cornstarch, sugar, and salt. Stir in pineapple, with its juice. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and bubbles. Add butter, lemon juice and beets. Cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
