Banana-Nut Pancakes

Ingredients:

1 envelope (1.4 oz.) banana-nut-flavored instant oats

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 large egg, at room temperature

3/4 cup milk

3 tablespoons cooking oil

1 ripe banana, mashed

1/3 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Stir together the first 4 ingredients; make a well in the center of the mixture.

Stir together egg, milk, oil, banana, and pecans; add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened.

Pour about 3 tablespoons batter for each pancake onto a hot, lightly greased griddle. Cook pancakes until tops are covered with bubbles and edges look cooked; turn and cook the other side.

Serve with butter and warm syrup.
