Asparagus Casserole

Ingredients:

1 can (10.75 ounces) cream of mushroom soup

2 eggs, beaten

1 cup grated sharp cheese

1 cup sour cream

1/4 cup minced onion

1/4 cup minced green pepper

1 jar (3 ounces) pimento

1 jar (4 ounces) mushroom pieces

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper

2 packages frozen asparagus cuts, cooked

1 1/2 cups corn flakes, slightly crushed

1/2 cup pecans, chopped

6 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix all of the above together, except the corn flakes, pecans and butter. Put into 9" x 13" casserole dish. Sprinkle corn flakes and nuts on top and dribble butter over all. Bake at 300 degrees for 50-60 minutes.

Yields 8-10 servings.
