24-Hour Slaw

Ingredients:

1 medium head cabbage, shredded

1 small onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

6 olives, sliced

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup vinegar

1/4 teaspoon crushed black pepper

1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions:

In a salad bowl, combine cabbage, onion, pepper, olives and sugar. Mix well.

In a small saucepan, combine vinegar, pepper and oil. Boil for 3 minutes. Pour over cabbage mixture. Cover and chill for 24 hours.
